Stage 3 ~ Broken will
A knight like figure walked towards the city of Geffen. He held a weird looking sword, and carried a weird looking shield equipped with claws on the other hand. As he walked towards the mage city, everyone who he passed all stared at him in weird confusion. All of them had the same question in their heads, why is he here, what does he want? A wizard and a sage guarded the doors of Geffen. As the weird looking knight wanted to enter Geffen, the sage and wizard raised their staffs stopping him. One of them then said, “ You can’t get into Geffen without getting past us first, stat your purpose here!” The weird looking knight raised his sword at the wizard’s neck and said, “ Didn’t you heard of the saying, curiosity killed the cat? If you want your heads, then you better get out of my way…” The wizard pointed his staff at the weird looking knight and used his spell called soul strike while he bend back to dodge the sword. The weird looking knight took back his sword and with one swing at the ground, an incredible force slashed and ripped the ground. That force also destroyed the soul strike. The wizard was left speechless, the sage however tried a frost diver spell. Spikes of ice were summoned from the sage towards the weird looking knight.
The weird looking knight once more swung his sword and struck the ground. The force broke the ice and caused the sage to be hit back by the force. That weird looking knight then continued to walk down the path towards the Geffen tower. A horn was sound and lots of wizards and sages quickly gathered to impose his march. The weird looking knight grinned and said, “ Bring it on! As a paladin, I will not lose! Sieru swordplay!” The paladin began to slay everything in his path with great force. The sages and wizards began to retreat back to cast their magic. The paladin continued slaying anyone in his path, as he slashed one wizard. That wizard would be slashed back so hard that he would fly back and knock down the wizards and sages behind him. Some wizards were able to charge long enough to cast their magic. Storm gusts and meteor storms were released onto the paladin. The paladin quickly slashed the meteors and slashed apart the storm gust with his sword. His sword had been enchanted with wind element, thus enabling the paladin to slash apart the storm gust. The wizards and sages seem helpless to stop the paladin’s impeding march towards Geffen tower. Many died trying, the paladin was now close to the tower. However standing before him was the left vanguard of the wizard guild, Krion rarecroft. He held up his hand and signaled the other wizards and sages to stop. He then shouted to the paladin, “ I, Krion rarecroft challenge you to a one on one battle! Show me what you got!” The paladin replied, “ Very well then, if you insist to die. I, Valkern accept your challenge!” Valkern charge on forward, while Krion began to cast his spell. Valkern tried to slash Krion, but Krion dodged and used his soul strike. Valkern countered it easily and tried to slash Krion again, Krion then blocked him with an ice wall technique. Valkern however destroyed the wall easily, and attacked Krion with a critical bash. Krion was slashed upwards with incredible force, Krion landed on top of a rooftop. Krion thought to himself, Is there really no way to stop this mad man? Valkern jumped on to the rooftop, Krion got up and prepared to defend himself. Valkern released another critical bash, the force ripped up the roof and cause Krion to crash into the building behind him. Krion got up once more after surviving that blow, he knew he couldn’t hold up the attacks much longer. Combining the three elements wind, fire and water, Krion tried to summon the strongest magic he ever could. Valkern saw the magic’s power and decided to match it with his own power. He enchanted his sword with the three elements all at the same time, he was now ready to do one of his strongest move. Both were now ready to unleash their moves, Krion shouted, “Crystal storm!” while Valkern shouted, “ Crystal strike!” A storm of spectacular colors was released, and a strike of power with the same spectacular colors was also unleashed. Both powers hit each other and exploded in a beautiful radiant of colored petals. Both of them grinned, Valkern then said, “ Beautiful…is it not? You did a similar move as mine, except that we unleashed it differently. Power that great can only be matched by the users will. Perhaps you are worthy to join us…” Krion shouted out before Valkern could finish his sentence, “ Enough of this crap! Lets finish the fight!” Valkern replied, “As you wish…” He then jumped towards Krion and grabbed his neck with the claws of his own shield. Krion thought to himself once more as Valkern jumped towards him, to defeat the forbidden job, I must use the forbidden magic! Krion remembered about something when he was young, he used to go to the room of his teacher to mess it up. One day, he found an old book, which wrote about magic of great power. Power so great that it was very hard to summon or some that they didn’t knew how, they were forbidden as the magic was too great for one person to summon. Some of them needed to pay a price as well. In the end, that book was lost and forgotten. His teacher must have found it in some ruins or something. He remembered one spell from the book before his teacher found out. It was written that the spell was a level 5 spell, the strongest level of magic there is. It was the magic of the heart. However Krion didn’t know what it meant when he read it, but know he had a pretty good hunch on what it meant. It was a magic of the inner soul, the power would come from the strong feelings that the user has. As Valkern held Krion with the claws of his shield, he unleashed another of his strongest move. “ Kaiser crush!” Krion was crush down to the floor so hard that just as his body hit the ground, he continued moving backwards due to the momentum and crashed into the Geffen tower. Lots of smoke acuminated at the place where Krion had crashed, a light began to shine through that smoke and dust. Krion chanted the words for the forbidden magic, as he chanted light particles began to gather. Krion thought about all the times where he had fought with Withe, the great feeling he felt as he exchanged blows with him. I won’t lose out Withe… he thought to himself. “Will, spirit, mind…feel the flames of my heart! No longer will I stand being weaker, I will prove my own might! Crisident flame-heart!” White flames began to spurt from Krion’s staff, soon a large beam of white flames was shot at Valkern. Valkern fought back with his crystal strike. However the force was too great for him to hold back, thus he couldn’t hold back for too long and soon was pushed back by the beam and crashed into a building behind him. As Valkern crashed, Krion smiled and then collapse in exhaustion. As he fell he whispered, “ I did it Withe, I made one of the second/third jobs fall.” However right after a few minutes, a great force was released where Valkern crashed. Valkern wasn’t defeated yet, he got up and was now really angry. His eyes narrowed together and his sword began to glow. Krion was shocked to see Valkern still able to stand. He tried to stand up and fight once more, but he was too badly injured and exhausted. Valkern now stood in front of Krion, and with one mighty swing from his sword. Krion flew towards Geffen tower and crashed into it. Valkern then swung his sword once more creating a wave of force flying towards Geffen tower. With that hit, everything on the first floor was crushed with great force. Krion couldn’t fight back and just took the beating. “Damn it! I won’t stand for this! I must fight!”, he cried out. However soon after another force hit him and he crashed through the tower. When Valkern walked towards Krion to finish him off, something caught his eye. It was a secret passageway leading to bellow the tower. I’ve found it!, he thought to himself. When he walked to the end of the passageway, what stood before him was a crystal that was identical to that of at Juno. “The first seal…” he whispered. He held his sword up high and swung it down with all his might, “Critical bash!” A great force was released and it hit the crystal. The crystal stood there holding the force but soon it gave in and broke. A great black gush of air began to spurt out. Valkern rejoiced in his victory and said to the unknown voice that had always been speaking to him. “Mission complete.”
